Oh Yahoo News, how I hate you.

This news headline (if you're a parent you probably don't want to click) jumped out at my while I was trying to get the god damn weather forecast and has left me shaky and wanting to cry.

I can sort of understand people who hit a child once, or even twice. I can even sort of understand people who manage to depersonalize an entire race or tribe in order to kill individual members. But I cannot fathom this sort of evil.

You need some direct links to www.weather.com and www.weather.gov so you don't have to deal with the random news horrors.

I saw that story, thought of previous stories that affected you, and hoped you wouldn't see this one.

Yeah, I probably do.

I did, in fact, just delete Yahoo from my toolbar. Now I can't just click out of habit anyhow.

Toddler stories like this one are the worst, because I can so clearly see my own child in all his innocent snuggles in that child.

Anyhow, Josh is supposed to call me as soon as he picks E up.

Had you noticed, by the way, that the majority of these sorts of stories seem to be toddler *girls*? Do you suppose that not as many toddler boys get murdered, or they just aren't cute enough to make national news?
