The Art of Onfim: Medieval Novgorod Through the Eyes of a Child
This has been all over the blogworld in the past couple of weeks. What I find most interesting (besides the images, of course, which are amazing) is that its an article published by an SCA person. More images of the birchbark originals on Flickr.
