Public Fundraising Request

This is a fundraising request:
SixDegrees.org is having a contest. The top six charities in total donors (by Sunday, September 16th at 11:59 pm) will receive a $10,000 matching grant from Six Degrees.
Maine People's Alliance and Maine People's Resource Center (the allied non-profit organizations I work for) are currently placed 8th. Please consider donating $10 to help us boost our donor totals and earn $10,000. You can give anonymously if you'd prefer; that way you won't end up on any "lists".
By giving to us you will help support: Equal rights for everyone in Maine; our work to put pressure on Senators Collins and Snowe to end the War; Environmental work, including the cleanup of Mercury from the Penobscot river; Clean Elections, and much more.
You'll need to give through the Network for Good website (here's the link to give), and gifts will actually be to our 501(c)3 arm, the Maine People's Resource Center, so gifts are tax deductible.
Any help you can give would be appreciated. Remember, its not how much you give, but rather how many people give that matters.
