Maunche for Lady Galen of Blackthorne

Ionnes and Honig, by strength and grace King and Queen of the East and defenders of Tir Mara, to all to whom these presents shall come greeting. Whereas the companions of the Order of the Maunche was an ancient company which hath enjoyed divers privileges and immunities by virtue of the liberties and customs granted to them by our most royal predecessors, Laeghaire and Ysabeau, and whereas at the time of the making of these letters there are not, in our esteemed judgement, a sufficient number of companions of the order know ye therefore that we of our especial grace certain knowledge and mere motion have willed ordained constituted granted and confirmed by these presents that our very sober and faithful subject Lady Galen of Blackthorne shall be duly and rightfully numbered among the companions of the order of the Maunche in recognition of her skill at the spinning of flax and of wool and further do we confirm and grant unto her the right to bear the following arms: ....., and also further do require that she along with all the said companions must appear from time to time at functions and public occasions bearing the livery and badge of this fraternity, to whit Per pale Or and purpure, a maunch counterchanged. Given by our hand and under our seal in the presence of witnesses and companion of the order on the field at our Great Northeastern War on the eighth day of July Anno Societatis LII in our beloved Province of Malagentia.
