To be fair, it's the start of 2nd grade, and I think they're doing review/assessment. But, bored, yeah.
Edited to add: Last year, for most of the year, he worked 1:1 or 2:1 with a volunteer, doing math at his own pace. I hope that eventually something similar with happen this year. (One of the things I love about his teacher is that she acknowledged right up front that he's working far above grade level.) Once he starts 3rd grade he can be placed in accelerated math via the G&T program. So there is hope, but it's a ways off.
It bugs me, a little, because he's starting to get frustrated with math, I think because it's so boring. I'm working hard for him to continue to a) see the utility of it, and b) maintain his joy in it.
