Many years ago, for Arval's induction into the Order of the Silver Crescent, I was asked to read his scroll. Having been inspired by one of his efforts, I determined to make this The Longest Scroll Ever Read In Court. I *did,* however, warn all the other Crescents what was coming, so they didn't try to remain kneeling during the reading.
The amusing part of this is that that was one of Gregor's courts also.
Speaking as a herald, this scroll may be even longer than that. wow . . .
