How bizarre, although not as violent I too had a dream about this. I wrote my reps and senator and then had to write him again because apparently his interns can't read and thought I was in favor of it. so annoying.
I've been thinking the same thing about stockpiling.
Also, strangely enough Oleg Volk, who is a major gun rights activist and photographer has written about this as well.
