Long Night

E woke up about 2:30 with a snuffly nose. He's been snuggled up with me and back asleep for a couple of hours now, but I have been wide awake since he woke me up.

Josh's alarm goes off shortly. This will be a long long day.

the best laid plans....

Original plan:

Pack Friday after work. Get up early Saturday, drive to Natick, MA. Drop me & E off at Honda dealership. Ivan continues on to event. I pick up new van and follow him to event. We both drive home together separately.

Revised plan:

Pack Friday after work. Leave for MA around 9pm & find a hotel near Natick. Get up less-early, drop me and E at Honda dealer, continue as above.

Re-revised plan:

Josh gets home and shovels snow for more than an hour so he can get the car in the driveway. (And E "helping" by shoveling the porch), then he packs, then I get home, then ... I have no idea.

We're going to try really hard to go to K&Q, but the logistics are more daunting with three feet of snow blocking the end of our driveway.

E is sick. We will drive to Natick tomorrow to get our car, but we're just not going to make it the extra 90 minutes (with two cars) to get to Kings and Queens.

We'll miss you.
