Hrmph. I woke up around 4 am, and have been awake ever since. I suspect the culprit is the caffeine in the Excedrin, but its never been a problem before.

Of course, since I'm now up and doing stuff, E will likely sleep until 8:30 am at least.

Its a nice sunrise, though.

Our plan for the day: Farmer's Market, Library, SCA Youth Workshop Day

Our actual day: E wakes up around 7:30 am, goes downstairs to play trains. I am doing the dishes. From the other room I hear a sudden shout "Mamma! Mamma! Its everywhere! Come quick!!"

E has explosive poop. Its burst through his diaper, his pants, run down his leg, onto the floor. He looks terrified.

I run and get a big towel, shout for his father. Wrap E up, carry him to the stair landing. Josh takes him the rest of the way off to the tub. I clean the floor, get the icky laundry, start a soak load in the wash, get my son a drink, finish up with the dishes.

While Josh dresses him, more poop. Then more. Then more. Then E asks for cheese. He eats two containers of yogurt and four slices of cheese. Then he says he doesn't feel good, and asks to go back to his bed. I take him up to bed, we read Thomas for over an hour, until I start to doze off. E climbs over me, out of the bed, gets his father, and they go upstairs and play. I sleep.

Now its 2 pm and I'm just waking up and getting in the shower. I have at least a touch of whatever he has. He'd downstairs having lunch.

So much for our productive day. I hope we can get outside before the sun sets.
