Visited the Portland Flower Show with my mom and Mr E on Sunday. Of course, being me, I didn't come home with a single photo of a flower.

Visited the Portland Flower show with my mom and Mr E on Sunday. They hold the show inside a huge industrial building ... I believe its a boat yard or something similar. I really loved how the heavy industrial atmosphere (and the dramatic lighting) provided a unique space for all the floral displays ... which are really just big dioramas.
I didn't really come home with any photos of the flowers, though.
This is the view of Casco Bay from one of the car windows on the Maine Narrow Gauge Railroad.

Here's a link to tell you all about the museum
The flower show was right next to the railroad museum, and E had seen the train on the way in, but I don't think he realized that the train moved until we were eating lunch and he saw it pull up to the station from the window. Then he had to -- HAD TO -- ride on it.
There are three cars on the train (plus the engine). The front two are very plush and comfortable, and the caboose is ... well, like you see in the photo. But E very much wanted to ride "in the red car" so on the Caboose he rode. He loved every minute of it and cried when we left.
