E has now gone 36 hours + without any illness, and his appetite has returned. On the downside, we infected both his Grandparents when we left him there Saturday night. Oops.
My mom paid for GRUE the car on Monday, but because the seller is stupid we can't pick it up for a couple of days, so I have a rental. The rental has some kind of weather-sensor thingy in it, and this morning it greeted me with the message "Drive with caution, roads may be icy". Gee, thanks.
I'm sending Josh to fighter practice tonight. When I was totally laid up, I tried to be very proactive about making sure we had a sitter so he could go. Then after Thanksgiving we got sort of lazy about it, but now he's really jonesing to fight again, and I want to make sure he does.
I'm really, particularly tired today. I'm wondering if the blood thinners are causing me to be more anemic than usual. I recently learned that iron binds with warfarin (the blood thinner I'm taking), which can decrease even further the absorption of iron. So I suppose I should check into that.
I have no idea what we're having for supper, except that I'm going to try and get E to try some (very mild, homemade) salsa with chips, in an effort to get more a) liquids and b) calories into him. In the wake of his illness he's terribly, painfully thin. I can see all his ribs, and the joints at his shoulders. His arms and legs are stick like and he's palpably lighter when I pick him up. This morning I had to fix the waistband in his pants 'cause they were just hanging on him.
