E was sick (throwing up) all night long. No fever, no other symptoms, just throwing up every 15 - 20 minutes all night long.
( Vomit Stories )
So they're home now. Josh got no sleep last night at all so his dad (Poppa) is also at the house as an extra set of hands while Josh continues to wash bedding and hopefully get to nap some. E, despite how bad he feels and his lack of sleep was bright as a new penny this morning, jumping around and asking me to play toys with him. When I left they were snugged up on the sofa with Bob the Builder and a cup of "Juice" (Pedialyte). Josh was dozing and E was singing.
Because Josh is home I got to drive the car to work today -- and discovered that the driver's side seat is broken. It won't stay in any position except all the way back. I found a big spring on the floor I suspect is part of the problem. I ended up wedging a sand pail I found in the trunk behind the seat so I could reach the pedals, but that arrangement is not safe for anything beyond today. I also found myself wondering when the last time the oil had been changed in the car, so I might do that on the way home.
The parenting thing, its never dull.
