Here is the thing I think the media misses about Diana, Princess of Wales.
There are so many people out there who believe their lives will be happier or better "if only". If only I were rich. If only I were more beautiful. If only I were thinner. If only I had this or that object. If only. Diana's life gives rebuke to the idea that any of these things will bring happiness with them. Beauty, money, success, good works - in many ways, she had everything that one could wish for, none of these things brought her happiness. It is only in the act of having someone to love, and being loved in return, that true happiness is found.
