Our Happy Baby Has Returned!

Evan was super-fussy last night, and Josh and I were both thinking "oh no" -- that the meds weren't helping -- I even took his temp before we put his PJs on but it was normal. He conked out much earlier than usual -- was asleep in my arms downstairs before 730 pm, leaving his father and I to eat dinner in peace.
I actually went to bed at 8pm, shut the bedroom door, read for an hour, and was asleep by 9pm.
He only woke up once (!) -- from 145 - 215 -- then back to totally peaceful sleep until 7am (which is far past his normal waking time of 545 am ... we're going to have to go back to setting our alarm clocks for Josh to be to work on time if this continues).
When he woke up our happy boy was back! No screaming or crying when he woke up, just big smiles as I walked over to his crib, big smiles as he had his pants changed, big similes as he got dressed, big smiles as he took his medicine, big smiles as he put on his coat and hat, and big smiles on the trip to Carol's with Daddy.
Yay! It worked! My happy baby is back.
Its a good thing, too. I didn't like this cranky one nearly as much....
