Third Time is the Charm
Oct. 24th, 2005 01:54 pmI've tried twice to post this, and my computer has frozen in the middle of the process both times. Perhaps the third time is the charm.
Hey! You! Make a comment, ok? I'm wondering if anyone ever reads these darn things!
If I take the trouble to spell my name for you, will you please take the trouble to write down all the letters I give you? In the right order? Please? My name is not particularly complex. Your failure to write it down correctly when I take the trouble to spell it out for you is beyond lazy.
Kath and Robert are wed. Beatiful day. Rain held off until after we were done. A bit cold and crisp, though. Stunningly beatiful ceremony - gothic chapel, superb music (a piper!), fairy princess!, moving words, lots of friends, home-made truffles - a perfect day, really.
I was asked to do the photos, and I did them, God Help Me. Dropped them off at the crunchy-photo-geek developing place this morning. Nine rolls of 36 plus 10 disposable cameras. Ow. Since I don't normally shoot with the flash or play around quite this much with the fstops, I'm terrified that I've somehow screwed up the entire thing and they'll all be grey, awful and unusable. I suppose you get what you pay for. I did splurge and get them on disc as well as the negs, so hopefully if any of them are good I'll be able to post them here. But I'm going to be on pins and needles all week, waiting....
I need to get a paid account to get more icons, don't I? Sigh.
Must finish inside decorations tonight for Halloween party on Saturday. Plus go out and buy some candy for the trick or treat candy bags. Second year in a row I've forgotten to make an oriental trading order until its too late. *sigh* next year for sure
So, finish decorations tonight. Work 8-4 then 5-10 Tues, Wed, and Thursday. Friday off all day so I can do things like vacuum and move furniture around and dust and clean the bathrooms. And change sheets and make beds if anyone ends up being a weekend guest. (If you're reading this and plan on being a weekend guest, please let me know asap.)
Note to self: Buy Pumpkins!
