Went to bed last night around midnight and I was sure it was still 80 degrees -- very high humidity, the most uncomfortable sleeping weather you can imagine.

Woke up sometime during the night to an odd sensation of someone pulling the blankets up over me. Then Josh turned off the fan in our bedroom and I could hear the raspy sound of the wind in the treetops and the sound of the rain on the pavement. An absoloutely icy breeze blew in through the open windows and we snuggled up underneath the comforter. I fell asleep again to the sound of distant thunder, and found myself dreaming I was at Pennsic.

The weather did this on Saturday, too. Withering heat all day followed by icy air. I wish it would settle on a happy medium.

But the rain is blessed.

So, you have a job interview.

Your husband (I'm presuming here) has to drive you to the interview -- fine, no problem.

Your husband comes in to sit in the air conditioning rather than sit in the car. Not the choice I'd make, but its ok, not too weird.

But what does it say about you that you then ask if your husband can come into the actual interview with you? Makes me wonder if he's going to come to work with her, too.

And, just as an added data point, she's nicely dressed in an "interview suit". He's looking unbrushed (wild hair and beard), with a punk rock t-shirt full of holes, oil-stained jeans, and flip-flops.

People really confuse me sometimes.
