I have, in the past week or so, developed the most unbearable, awful pain in my right-upper back, just underneath my shoulder blade. Massaging it in any way (done by a human, the Theracane, tennis ball, or (as I have resorted several times over the past few days), the edge of a building or door gives only temporary relief. No stretch seems to touch it -- pulling the arm across, or up, or rotating the shoulder -- nothing. I've tried three different chairs -- nada. Josh seems to think it might be a mouse-use related pain (as my right hand is my mouse hand) but it hurt more yesterday as we were lounging on the sofa watching CSI than any other time.
If anyone has any ideas, I'm open to them. Paying my taxes last week eliminates the option of going to have a professional massage any time in the near future, so I need a temporary, non-drug related solution until then.
